Shipping Policy
We work hard to get your order packed safely and on its way as quickly as possible.
Processing Times
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days.
During busy periods such as new releases, holidays, or large restocks, processing times may be slightly longer.
You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been shipped.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates on our store are flat-rate and predetermined, not dynamically calculated at checkout.
Your shipping cost will be clearly shown before you complete your order.
Delivery Times
Delivery times depend on your location and the shipping service used. Once your package has been handed to the carrier, transit speed and final delivery are outside our control.
Weather events, holidays, customs processing, and carrier delays may impact delivery time.
U.S. Orders – Import Duties & Fees
Orders shipped from Canada to the United States may be subject to import duties, tariffs, taxes, or carrier processing (brokerage) fees upon entry into the U.S.
Recent changes to U.S. import regulations mean that these charges may apply regardless of order value.
These fees are determined by U.S. Customs and Border Protection and/or the shipping carrier. They are not included in your checkout total unless explicitly stated.
If applicable, these charges must be paid before delivery can be completed. The carrier will typically contact you directly with payment instructions.
The Northern Citadel does not collect or control these fees.
Local Delivery
We offer local delivery for eligible addresses.
If your address qualifies, the option will appear at checkout.
You will be contacted when your order is on its way. Please ensure the delivery address is accurate and accessible.
Local Pickup
We do offer in-person local pickup at Treasure Chest Games located at 24 Mt Burke Blvd West Lethbridge.
Lost or Delayed Shipments
If tracking shows delivered but you cannot locate your package, or your shipment appears delayed, please first contact the shipping carrier with your tracking number. If you still need assistance, reach out to us and we’ll do our best to help.
Incorrect Shipping Information
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly entered addresses.
Refused or Returned Shipments
If a shipment is refused due to unpaid import fees or returned to us by the carrier, original shipping costs and any return or carrier fees may be deducted from the refund.
Preorders and New Releases
Orders containing preorder items will ship once all items in the order are available.
If you would like in-stock items sooner, please place separate orders.
